Southerners Do Unique Things

A lot of southerners have a name for their properties. It can be a name that has passed down through the years or a newly created name. Being a transplanted southerner, my home is named Deer Run at Crestview. First, we live on Crestview Dr. The Deer Run is because when my husband saw our house for the very first time, a deer walked past him and brushed his body. He was sold on the house after that. Yes, we still have deer in our yard.

Once we had the name, we got our oldest daughter to come up with a logo. When you visit our home, you will see the logo used in a variety of ways. We have caps, sweatshirts, mugs, gift bags, and. even a flag for our flagpole.

Be creative, come up with a name for your home. If not at name, have a theme that you love. I have a friend that has peacocks around her home. What a great theme! She can use the peacock or a peacock feather as a theme. I know that you have ideas. Make them happen.
