A Follow up on the Guys’ Weekend

When the guys come I always have some sort of special gift item for them. (I have a Girl’s Weekend and do something similar.) This year the guys received puffer vests, with our logo on it, because it was colder than usual. They also received warm work gloves.

I have found that guys tend to get into trouble if you do not keep them busy. This year’s “busy” project was building new benches for the fire pit. Of course they christened the benches.

The benches are based on Buddy Benches that are build for Operation Project Hope’s school project day.

When I have the guys and girls come, I write a chalk board evert dat to let them know the temperature and the day’s activities. They can then plan what to wear to be warm and comfortable. (I copied this idea from my sister-in-law.).

This is liquid chalk. I bought both items from Hobby Lobby.
